updates

So I have started week 2 of Body for Life. So far everything has been going pretty good. We wake up in the morning to exercise which has done wonders for my energy.

Last Friday had a BBQ which was fun. Had about 20 or more people over and everyone seemed to have a pretty good time. I'll try to post some pictures of our awesome Rock Band-a-thon.

Hot tubbin

Thinking of buying a hot tub here soon. Since our house sold we'll have some extra play money and I've always wanted one! Going to test one out today and hopefully get an order in this week.

Jeremy and I are back on the diet/exercise wagon. Dropped about $270 on two weeks worth of groceries just so we can eat 6 times a day. No more fast food (except for free day Saturdays!!) or daily glasses of wine or beer. Its OK, no pain, no gain, right? I just need to stay at my desk at work and never leave my house and I should be just fine.

Hillary supporters

If you want to see the most insane, rabid, Hillary supporters our nation can muster. Go to Hillaryis44.com . I'm waiting for them to be named as a terrorist organization. What I can't understand is why people would support their candidate with so much conviction because of what she stands for, would even suggest turning around and voting for McCain.

Obama and Clinton are not that far off from each other. Have similar goals. And for me, it was a personality conflict to ever be behind Hillary Clinton. With that said, if my candidate had lost, I would evaluate what issues are important to me and make a decision. And as a woman, who believes in pro choice and the civil rights of everyone no matter who you choose your partner to be, I could never ever vote for a Republican.

The Republican party of today should just get it over with and rename themselves the NeoCons of America. This is not your warm and fuzzy Reagan-esque Republican. They are only interested into pandering to an uneducated, racist, over religious, and mob mentality type voter. What is truly interesting is the NeoCon party has no interest in helping out the middle and lower class wage earners. But those are the type of Americans that will vote for them since they use Fear and warmongering as their main talking points and tactics. Its sickening. Ok, off my tangent. With that said, I am by all means not "educated" I have attended some college, but did not get a degree. But I can think for myself and tell right from wrong. Why some Americans can't just baffles me.

Back to my subject. One of the main issues that Hillary touts as how she differed from Obama was her Healthcare plan. If you were a strong supporter of Hillary, chances are you were all for Nationalized Healthcare. So that means you should vote for McCain, a republican right after W's own heart. Right? Well, that is their logic. They would cut of their nose to spite their face. Haven't we moved past this type of grade school behaviour?
